Setup Studio 1.0.9 release contains september and october 2007 MS security patches as well as minor changes in the UI.

This is a service release that fixes a bug preventing loading ES, FR, PT, BR and TK language versions of Windows builds. It also contains the 1.0.11 database update with MS august 2007 hotfixes.

Release 1.06 brings reworked support for mass storage drivers. It also contains bugfixes regarding Windows Configuration, Themes, and unicode characters.

This update enlarges the list of hotfixes with patches released in February 2007.

Setup Studio service release 1.0.5 fixes the error when the opening older projects in 1.0.4 and higher versions. It also fixes some minor bugs reported in error reporting system.

Setup Studio release 1.0.4 brings the option of propagation of Windows Configuration settings to all user accounts. It also contains fixes for Wallpaper, Screensaver and Start menu settings that weren‘t applied in specific scenarios.

Setup Studio release 1.0.3 brings important fixes to some of the bugs reported into the error reporting system in the last month and half. It also contains some minor enhancements.

Functionality:

- Added support to shutdown the computer after the project finishes.
- Support for drivers with files in compressed *.*_ state.
- Support for random computer name.
- Various minor changes.


Bug repairs:

- Critical bug that prevents the launch of Setup Studio Engine in some of the Windows language versions.
- Automatic mode for services was not able to set up after switch to manual mode
- French Windows XP Professional sometimes detected as Home edition
- Autologon had conflict with blank password for Administrator account
- Link to Setup Studio home page crashed when site experienced overload
- Absence of Arial font caused the New Project Dialog to crash.
- Cookie settings didn’t launch correctly on some Windows versions
- Pagefile settings went to zero in some projects.
- Adding screensavers sometimes crashed when extension in capitals.
- Various minor bugs affecting program stability

Database 1.0.7 contains additional support of hotfixes for the following Windows language versions:

Greek
Arabic
Portuguese - Brazil
Portuguese - Portugal

Database 1.0.6 adds support for ATi Catalyst Software Suite version 6.11, 6.12 and 7.1. Release 1.0.6 also contains a fix to 2 duplicate entries in the hotfix list in database 1.0.5, that causes the Setup Studio Engine to crash.

Database version 1.0.5 contains January MS Windows security patch KB929969 - Vulnerability in Vector Markup Language Could Allow Remote Code Execution.

Today, we are releasing a service release that solves some of the issues that showed up in our error reporting system. You can download the latest version on our website or through Setup Studio update module.

Bugfixes:

- Protection from moving the project folder to network store sometimes failed.
- Setup Studio didn't check the parameters of Workgroup name correctly.
- The slipstreamer module replied with a dialog announcing no service pack is available even if no Windows was loaded.
- Winnt.sif was sometimes written onto media in lowercase.
- Minor changes in UI text labels.
- Various minor bugs affecting program stability.

Release 1.0.1 brings the following functionality:

- Added support for separate signature update package.
- New KILL action in Enginescript for easier management of processes left over by rogue programs.
- Setup Studio now also runs under User and Power User group.

It also contains the following bug repairs:

- When exporting project, Setup Studio crashed with the exception – “The process cannot access the .ssp file because it is being used by another process."
- Scroll bars were not visible in actions textbox.
- Native programs were not always sorted in alphabetical order.
- “No description” for foreign programs locked the project when reopened.
- Minor changes in UI text labels.
- The "trial dialog" in Engine lost focus to the background program.
- Burning project larger than 2GB sometimes crashed.
